Community Support

What We Raise Funds For

Freemasonry's charge includes caring for the community — here's how the Lodge puts that into practice.

Gordon County

Gordon County Child Advocacy Center

The Gordon County Child Advocacy Center and Sexual Assault Center compassionately responds to child victims of sexual abuse, physical abuse, and neglect, as well as adult victims of sexual assault, helping them and their families heal through forensic interviews, medical exams, counseling, and advocacy — available 24/7 to the Calhoun community. The Lodge's Running for the Kids 5K is held each year to benefit their work.

Masonic Children's Home of Georgia

Serving children since 1905, the Masonic Home of Georgia is a residential childcare facility on a 650-acre campus in Macon that provides youth from families in need with a safe, stable living environment, education, and support — guided by the principles of love, security, personal growth, and achievement. The Home is funded by the Masons of Georgia and their lodges statewide, including Oothcaloga Lodge No. 154.

Keep Calhoun Gordon Beautiful and Oothcaloga Masonic Lodge No. 154 Adopt-A-Mile roadside signs
[Ongoing]

Adopt-A-Highway

Georgia's Adopt-A-Highway Program enlists citizen volunteers to remove litter from state roadsides, saving taxpayer dollars while promoting civic responsibility and pride across the state. Oothcaloga Lodge No. 154 has adopted a mile of local roadway through Keep Calhoun Gordon Beautiful, a Keep America Beautiful affiliate, and holds regular litter clean-ups — standing as a visible reminder that Masons are stewards of their community.
