The causes Oothcaloga Lodge supports in Gordon County
Freemasonry's charge includes caring for the community — here's how the Lodge puts that into practice.
The Gordon County Child Advocacy Center and Sexual Assault Center compassionately responds to child victims of sexual abuse, physical abuse, and neglect, as well as adult victims of sexual assault, helping them and their families heal through forensic interviews, medical exams, counseling, and advocacy — available 24/7 to the Calhoun community. The Lodge's Running for the Kids 5K is held each year to benefit their work.

The Home is funded by the Masons of Georgia and their lodges statewide, including Oothcaloga Lodge No. 154.

Georgia's Adopt-A-Highway Program enlists citizen volunteers to remove litter from state roadsides, saving taxpayer dollars while promoting civic responsibility and pride across the state. Oothcaloga Lodge No. 154 has adopted a mile of local roadway through Keep Calhoun Gordon Beautiful, a Keep America Beautiful affiliate, and holds regular litter clean-ups — standing as a visible reminder that Masons are stewards of their community.
